Jacques Grysole, MBA (HEC Montréal)

Jacques Grysole is the founder of Expansion Stratégies Inc. He has more than 25 years of experience in consulting, specializing in marketing planning and project management in thirty countries. Formerly he worked for the SNC Group, one of the leading international engineering firms in Canada; created Legault, Grysole & Associés Inc. a marketing planning consultation firm. His experience is in particular in the marketing of new technologies or products

Brian Webber M.Sc. (Economics and Operations Research) Cornell University

Brian Webber is an international economic development expert with over 30 years of wide-ranging experience. Unifying themes of his work have been strategies and plans for enhanced competitiveness and capacity development. At the private enterprise level his work has focused on opportunity analysis and capacity building for development of internationally competitive enterprises, and the economic development institutions that support them. At the institutional level he has played a lead role in strategy development, planning and implementation of programs to upgrade effectiveness, particularly through approaches requiring partnerships and collaboration. Building on a base of clients in North America and Europe he has worked in newly industrialized and developing economies in Africa, Asia and in the Caribbean.

Mohamed Darbeida, M. Sc. Management (UQAM)

Mohamed Darbeida has been active in the tourism sector for the past 15 years. He was Director of Research and Development with one of the largest Tour Operator in North Africa. He brings to Expansion Stratégies an industry experience of the operational side and field knowledge of European specialized niches markets. His collaboration with Jacques Grysole started in 1995 in the areas of quantitative analyses and tourism strategies. He also teaches at various Quebec institutions such as Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM).

Richard Fournier, MBA

Businessman and experienced manager, he has over 40 years’ experience in managing manufacturing of consumer products (B to C). He performed various marketing strategies (new product launches, recruitment of distributors, sales force organization) primarily in North America and Europe (UK, Scandinavia, France, Germany, Spain, Italy). He has led several projects to relocate manufacturing (outsourcing) including Hong Kong, China (Xiamen and Gouanzhou), Korea, Indonesia, Portugal and Romania. He has worked on several projects of overseas acquisitions. He advises clients on market development and marketing management.

Paul Fritz-Nemeth, BA (Hons), MA (Oxon)

Paul Fritz-Németh has a BA and a Master in political and economic geography from Oxford (England). He has worked for Jacques Grysole since 1985. He looks after the surveys and the field missions in North America needed to evaluate market opportunities and validate marketing strategies. He was actively involved in trade shows to launch new products and select marketing partners.

Sofiane Baba, M. Sc. (HEC Montreal)

Sofiane Baba is working on his PhD from HEC Montreal, where he teaches management of sustainable development and social responsibilities of companies. His research addresses the social acceptability of projects and management of stakeholders. He published several scientific articles, case studies and book chapters on this theme. He also functions as a consultant in strategies and social responsibilities. Sofiane Baba has been collaborating with Expansion Strategies Inc. since 2011.

Louis Guilbault, Ph D.

He was Vice President Scientific Affairs at Société générale de financement, an investment fund (SGF-Soquia life sciences): Manager responsible for developing the portfolio of technology companies in the agribusiness and life sciences. He created Bioptima Conseils and offers consulting services in strategic planning and business development in the field of life sciences.

Yvon Legault, L. Sc.Com (HEC Montréal)

Yvon Legault is a strategy and marketing management consultant working primarily in the areas of technological products. He works as marketing manager in the areas of geomatics, environment and chemical products and is very familiar with company’s dynamics. Before setting up Legault, Grysole & Associés, he was working for the SNC Group for 10 years. He concentrates his practice in assisting companies to improve their marketing performance.

Zaven Sarkissian, B.Sc.A.

Zaven Sarkissian, has extensive experience in Engineering-Construction and Project Management, from proposal stage to post-handover, involving all project phases such as; master planning, concept development, design reviews, implementation and commissioning, for commercial, industrial and infrastructure type projects, routing of services and corridor engineering, campus type developments with an accent to environmental sustainability, energy conservation and green building design.

His previous experience between 1974 and 1998 in the Consulting Engineering business, he has occupied key positions in all project development phases; such as Project Manager for IBM Canada’s Bromont site development for fifteen (15) years; Quality Director and Internal Auditor for six (6) years, Resident Site Engineer for major construction site.

His concern for detail, his appreciation for high quality submittals and his mastery of languages has helped him build successful human relationships.

He has been collaborating with Expansion Strategies for more than 15 years for the assessment of potential project sites, development of physical layout scenarios, construction and operating budgets and detailed schedules of proposed projects.
